About the role
Reporting to the General Manager Shared Services, this cornerstone role works closely with the Elected Members, CEO, General Managers and Managers to deliver strategic and operational financial functions across council. Acting as a trusted advisor this role ensures smooth coordination, support and advice is delivered for the key areas of budget, analysis, financial system and reporting.

About you
• CPA / equivalent qualification or demonstrated experience;
• Understand the meaning of “Trusted Advisor”;
• Demonstrated experience as a people leader and relationship builder;
• Experience in business systems; and
• The ability to decode complex information into easily understood reporting.
